Triple Zero (000)
Call 000 from any Casphone Mobile service to reach Police, Fire or Ambulance anywhere in Australia. Emergency calls are free, do not count towards your plan inclusions, and cannot be barred. If your service is suspended or your account is overdue you can still call 000.
If there is no Casphone Mobile (Telstra Wholesale) coverage where you are, your phone will attempt the call on any other available mobile network. If your phone shows "emergency calls only", a 000 call will still connect.
112
112 is the international emergency number and works from any GSM/4G/5G mobile phone. In Australia it connects to the same Triple Zero service as 000. Some phones let you dial 112 while the keypad is locked or without a SIM card.
106 — text emergency relay
106 is the text-based emergency call service for people who are deaf or who have a hearing or speech impairment, using a TTY (teletypewriter). The National Relay Service (NRS) also relays calls to emergency services: call 133 677 or see accesshub.gov.au.
Emergency+ app
The free Emergency+ app, developed by Australia's emergency services, shows your exact location so you can tell the operator where you are. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
Older devices that cannot make Triple Zero calls
A small number of older devices cannot fall back to another carrier's network to make an emergency call. Under the ACMA's emergency call rules these devices are progressively blocked from Australian mobile networks. Check the list on our Triple Zero Calling — Non-Capable Devices page and update or replace an affected device.
Priority Assistance
Casphone Mobile does not offer Priority Assistance. If you or someone in your household has a life-threatening medical condition, see our Priority Assistance page for where to get it.
Your details and the IPND
We provide your name, address and number to the Integrated Public Number Database so that emergency services can locate you when you call. See our Privacy Policy for details.
